LOOSE GRAVEL AND WEEDS.
The front area had become uneven and overgrown, with loose stone meeting older paths and paving around the entrance.
A tired gravel and paved front area renewed with an open-grade porous tarmac base, Geogrid reinforcement and a permeable Arctic Ice resin-bound finish.
The original front area combined loose gravel, weeds and older paving. GMGB rebuilt the surface with an open-grade porous tarmac base, then placed Geogrid across the area before installing the permeable Arctic Ice resin-bound finish. Both surfacing layers allow water to pass through the system.
The front area had become uneven and overgrown, with loose stone meeting older paths and paving around the entrance.
The entrance contained several different finishes. Rebuilding it as one coordinated area created a much cleaner and more useful approach to the property.
An open-grade porous tarmac base was installed to provide a strong, free-draining foundation. Geogrid was then placed across the surface before the resin-bound layer was applied.
The permeable Arctic Ice resin blend was mixed, spread and hand finished across the full area, working carefully around the entrance, edges and existing kerb line.
