When you contact GMGB or use the quote form, we may collect your name, telephone number, email address, project postcode, preferred contact method, details about the work and any photographs you choose to upload.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, assess potential work, prepare quotations, communicate about projects, keep appropriate business records and protect the website from misuse.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including appropriate business, accounting and legal record-keeping.
Who can access it
Access is limited to authorised GMGB team members and service providers needed to operate the website and enquiry system. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Photographs
Photos uploaded with a quote request are used to understand and assess that enquiry. Customer project photographs will not be used publicly for marketing without an appropriate basis or permission.
Your choices and rights
You can ask GMGB about the personal information held about you, request a correction, or raise a concern about how it has been used. Some information may need to be retained where there is a valid business or legal reason.
Website traffic
GMGB records basic first-party traffic figures, including pages viewed, visit time and the referring website where available. Raw IP addresses are not saved; they are converted into a one-way anonymous identifier used to estimate unique visitors. This counter does not use advertising cookies or track people across other websites.
Cookies and website operation
The website uses only the technology needed to operate its pages, secure team access, enquiry features and anonymous traffic counter. It does not currently use advertising cookies.
